Hot Springs County Fire Station, Thermopolis, Wyoming
 
This 24,000 square foot fire station is owned by the Hot Springs County Fire District. This building is constructed of masonry and steel and was designed with an upper level control room overlooking the apparatus bays.
The site had poor soil conditions, which dictated a deep foundation system. Driven steel piles were chosen for speed and economy. The building was completed in 2007.

Powell Fire Station, Powell, WY
 
This 18,600 square foot fire station was designed by JGA Architects for the Park County Fire District to replace a small and aging downtown facility. This building was designed with an upper level control room overlooking the apparatus bays. The building is steel-framed for economy and uses single-wythe CMU wall construction. The roof is framed with steel beams and open-web bar joists. The building site allowed the use of conventional foundations. The project was completed in 2004.
